Happy Mother's Day!!

Hi all,

Well every day is Mother's day but this day is something very special so it should be celebrated in a very special way...celebration and honoring of motherhood....

Happy Mother's Day!! to all the moms out there!!

This day I have a special card to share...I chose shades of pink to make this card..

I started with a white watercolor paper and then went on to add watercolor, mists, some prima flowers, kaisercraft rub-ons and that sentiment is printed using my printer...

I would like to share this on Simon Says Stamp Challenge:Five
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The challenge was to :
A) You need to “pick five” things TOTAL to create your next project. (and yes, picking something like ‘copic markers’ would count as one thing but you could use multiple colors)

or

B) You need to use five of something (papers, buttons – anything!) on your project

or

C) be inspired by the number five
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I choose B) and added 5 elements in my card and they are:-
1. Rub-ons
2. flowers
3.sequins
4. pearls
5.paper thread

and I just added one more element and that was 'LOTS OF LOVE'...

Hope you all like it and have a very Happy mother's day....enjoy!!

Hello everyone...

Just stopping by quickly to share a card I made for 'SimonSaysStamp Monday challenge:Tick Tock'.  This is the very first time I am participating in SimonSaysStamp challenges.

I just love mixed media so much and have been trying various techniques...

I used a thick heavy cardstock to make this card...I have used so much mediums, Studio gesso, Golden modeling paste and matte medium, Rangers embossing powder and inks, stamps, Tim holtz Clock rub-ons and Gears and that prima flower.

Please hop over to the the blog to see more fabulous DT creations...they are just amazing....Thank you so much for stopping by and thank you for leaving comments...it means so much for me!!

Moxie Fab World Tuesday Tigger

Hi,

Just a quick share..I am back again with another grungy stuff.....my first ever card for Moxie Fab World  Tuesday Tigger:Feather Weather.

It's an amazing fun challenge and I really enjoyed doing my card because all these colors in the trigger are my favorites...blues and greens just perfect with a dash of grey and white...how lovely is that....take a look!!

Tuesday Trigger: Feather Weather

And here's my take on the challenge...

I was motivated to play along because of the dreamy look of the picture and the colors...and that feather fits in so well....I wanted to give a dreamy look to my card too and don't know how far I have succeeded....A few close-ups of my card...

I did my background with paints, ink and gesso...the flowers were just party favor flowers lying around so it was just perfect to use them for this challenge....I wish I could have incorporated that feather in my card but unfortunately I couldn't find them...the sentiment 'Thank you' is the free font of Ali Edwards I downloaded and printed...

Thanks so much for stopping by!!
