13arts Challenge + a sketch at Berry71Bleu

Hi all,

Its been so quite here on my blog...but the inspiration from all my wonderful crafters kept me going.  I just thought to play along this challenge at 13arts. Its one of my fav fav  blog and its just amazing to see all the wonderful creations here....the designers here are super talented and its always an inspiration to see all the creations they  make!!


And this is the fab mood board.!!.


 The Rules of the challenge # 21: is to Choose one of four pictures as your inspiration (style and color combo) and use mists in your project.

 So I choose the 4th picture as my inspiration and came up with my layout...I love the blues and the turquoise colors in the picture and that grey backdrop is just amazing...

For the paper I choose 7-dots studio cold country collection and 13arts (matted with the photo)..the photo inspiration came from the frames behind on the 4th picture of the moodboard....

I used the 13arts Pastel Turquoise mist and the Ayeeda Paints in Matte cobalt, some Blue fern chipboards, prima stamps and flowers.  I also used Kasia's template for some dimension.  The 'everyday' title is from jillibean soup.

I love all 13arts paints and mists and what I miss the most was the glass beads which I couldn't use in my layout...(thats next in my shopping list!!lol!!)

    Hi Fena! This is phenomenal! Love the dark rich colours, it's very beautiful! So glad to see you creating....I am with you on the 13 arts products, definitely some of my favorite....if you have a regular craft store near you check out the jewelry section for tiny glass beads, I have found some there before.....thanks for visiting my blog, you are always so sweet ;) have a great weekend....Lisa

    This is why I love being on DT's...I get the chance to discover new artists all the time! I love your work & this page is no exception. You added gorgeous textures to your background & your use of the mixed media is flawless. Loved it all!

    Sounds like you're from my neck of the woods. I too live very close to NYC & am a Quality Analyst--so I'm very familiar with software & software engineers & developers.
