Runway Inspired Challenge ric#38 - Burberry Prorsum Resort

Hey'll,

Just dropping in quickly to share a card I made for Runway Inspired Challenge ric#38 - Burberry Prorsum Resort...I was so fascinated by the colors in the picture...light pink and green...and I loved that awesome skirt of the model...

This is the first time I am playing along at Runway and pretty excited about it...the DT is just so talented out here...

Here's the inspiration...

My take...

Well when i started I never thought it would turn out so floral...anyways...I started with White Basill Basics Paper with Bling diamond...the background has been done from scratch...I started with adding distress ink in Tattered Rose and Tea dye...then used Donna dawney Poppies and peonies stencil to create a floral background...highlighted a few with pencil...

Took the same basill basics diamond bling paper to make the leaves and the trims....the rose is the recollection flower...then cut the leaves from diamond bling paper and added distress ink in peeled paint....added some liquid pearls...I am so fascinated by this liquid pearls that I am going to use them often from on...'Love' sentiment is Kaisercraft Rub-ons...Phew it was a whole lot of work building it from scratch but it was all fun to use the tools...

Materials used:

Paper: Basill Basics diamond bling
Distress inks: Ranger
Liquid Pearls: Ranger
Stencil: Donna Dawney
Rub-ons: Kaisercraft
small flowers: EK-success punch

That's it for now..thanks for stopping by...you guys have a lovely weekend...

Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger

Hello everyone,

Just dropping in here to share a card I did for the Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger:Vintage Vagabond...truly was inspired it...

Tuesday Trigger:Vintage Vagabond

I tried to add a touch of vintage look but still keeping it modern kind of thing to the card...

I used Simple Stories 'Documented' collection....'Words to live by' paper...I loved the touch it had of grunge and the vintage look of the paper fits in well with this tuesday trigger theme...

I distressed the paper on the sides and curled it... I then took a doily and cut a part of it to make a frame around the sentiment...I then added some recollection flowers which I loved and then took a few petals to adhere it too on the card...then added some small pearls to the wire and stuck them beneath the flowers...I thought to keep it simple by not adding any color or stamps which I usually would like to do...just added a few more small pearls around...I wish I could have added some metal to go with the picture but couldn't...but loved how it came out...

Hope you like it...Thanks for stopping by ladies...!!

Moxie Fab World Gift Bag Challenge

Hi everyone..

I'm back again with another quick share...this is for Moxie Fab World: Gift Packaging Challenge...

Phew!! this was really a quick one because I didn't had the required time available to sit and think about how  I am gonna make this work...I did this with whatever stuffs I had available in my stash...

I remember during my childhood days and ofcourse after that how I used to gift wrap all the gifts I wanted to give to my family and friends...it reminded me of how I used to find ways to decorate the gifts and wrap them  up and find some or the other embellishment to finish it off..

When I saw this challenge I thought I have to make it work anyhow and I decided to make a box which can be used to gift some chocolates..

I started with downloading this template here.  I then customized the template as per to my needs by cutting it out with scissors (as I don't have those Die-cut machines). After putting it all together I then decided to add some paint...

I then punched in some white flowers with the EK-success punch...and added some prima flowers which i had received as a free gift...I then cut some thin stripes of white paper for trims and tucked it underneath the flowers and then stick some small pearls..(oh how I love pearls n crystal beads!!)..

To finish it off I then added this brass metal 'memories' on the lid...this was the first ever gift box I made in years now and I'm atleast glad how it turned out....

Thanks for stopping by....I'll be back with few more shares till then have a great weekend gals!
